Welcome to the Minnesota Early Childhood Cost Calculator! This tool, funded by the Minnesota Department of Education, allows users to understand the current funding available for Minnesota’s early childhood system, and to estimate the costs associated with providing a higher quality, more extensive system for Minnesota’s young children.
The model was made possible by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) (P.L.111-5), which made funding available to Minnesota to improve coordination and collaboration among early childhood education and care programs and services.
